POSITION OVERVIEW

\n

\n

The Creative Director, Brand & Campaigns is a full-time position that works collaboratively as part of the marketing team. This is a strategic role. You will own the big idea behind every new product launch and marketing campaign, define and protect the Zoom brand voice across every place it shows up, and set the creative direction that designers, videographers and agency partners bring to life.

\n

The role is hands-on as well as conceptual. You will contribute copy across campaign headlines, positioning statements, and brand messaging alongside the marketing team and outside partners.

\n

We expect fluency with AI tools as part of the creative process for exploring more directions early, getting from idea to mockup faster, and helping a small team produce at scale.

\n

Because of the nature of our products, this job requires you to take nuanced, technical information and find the human, creative story inside it.

\n

Social media is central to how our audience discovers and evaluates gear, and that's where our ideas have to land. You'll create campaign concepts built for these platforms and grounded in creator culture. Your job is coming up with something worth posting.

\n

Along with the marketing team, the Creative Director will collaborate with other internal departments, Zoom Corporation headquarters in Japan, and third party contractors, vendors, and agencies.

\n

We are looking for an out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for brand development, a real feel for creator culture, and the ability to turn big ideas into work that sells products.

\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n

\n

\n
• Develop the overarching creative concept and campaign platform for new product launches
\n
• Define, document and evolve the Zoom brand voice, positioning and creative standards
\n
• Set creative direction for designers, photographers/videographers and outside agencies, and give clear, constructive feedback on the work
\n
• Contribute headlines, positioning statements and key brand messaging, and review copy produced by the team and outside partners for voice and consistency
\n
• Partner with the product team early to understand what we're building and shape how it goes to market
\n
• Take the lead at video and photo shoots, directing talent and crew to ensure we capture everything the campaign requires
\n
• Present concepts and campaign strategy to marketing leadership and to Zoom Corporation headquarters in Japan
\n
• Write creative briefs and guide third party agencies and production partners
\n
• Ensure brand consistency across web, packaging, retail, advertising, social media, video and events
\n

QUALIFICATIONS:

\n

\n

\n
• 5+ years in brand, creative or campaign development, at an agency or on an in-house team
\n
• Experience in the music industry and/or consumer audio electronics strongly preferred
\n
• A portfolio of campaigns you conceived and led, showing the thinking behind the work
\n
• Ability to translate technical product detail into an emotional, creative story
\n
• Fluency in creator culture and current social media and web trends
\n
• Strong conceptual and presentation skills, including the ability to sell an idea through storyboards, sketches and writing
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
\n
• Ability to travel for trade shows and video/photo shoots as needed
\n

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

• Experience launching consumer hardware or technical products
\n
• Experience building creator, artist or influencer partnership programs
\n
• Familiarity with AI tools for concepting, drafting and visualization
\n
• Personal experience as a musician, filmmaker, podcaster or engineer
\n

This is an on-site position, located at the Zoom North America office in Hauppauge, New York.

\n
