Asian Chef

The primary focus will be overseeing the Asian culinary offerings across our buffet operations, known for its extensive Asian cuisine selection. The role will also support the culinary needs of our Far East marketing segments, which represent some of our most valued guests.

This position will play a key role in developing and implementing the Asian dining experience, both before and after the Buffet's planned multimillion-dollar renovation in Q1 2027 , with reopening anticipated in Q2 2027 .

Scope

Responsibilities include leadership and execution across:

• Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Beijing, along with knowledge of Dim Sum, and Chinese BBQ
• Equally important is the knowledge and emphasis on Southeast Asian cuisine
• Live Asian Grill stations
• Asian Noodles
• Japanese cuisine, including sushi and sashimi
• Select Indian preparations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Asian buffet operation across all dayparts
• Oversee a large team of Chefs and cooks per shift
• Maintain consistent high-quality execution and food authenticity
• Focus heavily on hands-on leadership, training, and staff development
• Support menu development, basic administration, and renovation planning

Ideal Candidate

• Strong knowledge of all-around Asian cuisine, including:
• Southeast Asian cuisine
• Cantonese cooking skills
• Technical understanding of Japanese cuisine
• Working knowledge of Indian food preparation
• Proven leader with high-volume experience and strong training ability
